• PENNSYLVANIA LUMBER MUSEUM

  The PA Lumber Museum, 11.2 miles west on Route 6, interprets the history of the state's prosperous lumber era-more than a centure ago when white pine and hemlock were the wealth of the nation. Exhibits include toos, shay locomotive, Barnahart log loader, Brookville switch engine, tannery exhibit, CCC-1936 chestnut cabin, sawmill, logging camp, and sustaniable forestry trail relating to timber management.
