1st: Hi-Ed is hosting a class called “Essential Skills for Supervisors” at 8am-4:30pm. Tickets are $2 each or $10 for an arm’s length. All proceeds help Paws Along the River Humane Society. 3rd-5th: Sr. Winter Camp retreat at Miracle Mountain Ranch. It will begin Friday night at 7pm and end Sunday at 1pm and include trail riding, octaball, sport competitions, tubing, sledding, and more. 4th: Free Books for Kids Town Fifth Anniversary Celebration with a benefit from 4 to 7pm at Women’s Club of Warren, with live music, barn dancing with live callers, food and more! 4th: Eagle Watch Day at Big Bend Recreation Area from 8am-2pm. Make sure to bring your binoculars! 4th: Appreciation Dinner at Lander VFD. 8th-9th: Warren General Hospital Auxiliary Board Annual Linen Sale in the Outpatient Lobby from 7am to 4pm. 9th: FAFSA Completion Workshop at 5:30pm at the Warren Forest Higher Education Council. Adults cost $135 and ages 6-12 are $115. 10th: Youngsville Wrestling Boosters Fundraiser Spaghetti Dinner at Youngsville Free Methodist Church to benefit the Youngsville Wrestling Team activities. 10th: Downtown Warren’s 2nd Annual Cupid Shuffle. Downtown businesses will be providing snacks, beverages, and prizes to be won! Tickets are $20 each and proceeds benefit First Friday events in 2017. Purchase tickets at Seasons on the Avenue or VirgAnn’s Flower and Gift Shop. 11th: The Warren County Special Olympics Valentine’s Day Dinner-Dance will be held from 6 to 8:30;m at Holy Redeemer Center. For more information, email 14th: Pitt Bradford will be having a “Professional Development Series” Where you can take a class on conflict management ($179), or customer service ($179). These classes are for anyone who wants to enhance their professional skills. 17th: “Eggs and Issues” at the Conewango Club at 7:30am. The cost is $15 per person and includes a breakfast buffet. This event is in celebration of the Warren County YMCA being in Warren for 150 years. They will discuss some of their history and achievements over this time. Attend the banquet to support conservation education, habitat stewardship, permanent land protection, and Elk Country Visitor Center. There will be a $1,000 grand prize drawing after the race plus a cash prize of $500 for 2nd, $250 for 3rd & 4th, and three $100 drawing
