The Allegheny National Forest (ANF) is one of 155 National Forests and is the only one in Pennsylvania. The ANF lies within a days drive of 1/3 of the Nation's population and boasts the Allegheny Reservoir, the centerpiece of developed recreation within the ANF. The Reservoir is 12,080 acre, 27 miles long man-made lake with 90 miles of pristine shoreline.
