Bring the whole family to discover surprising bat facts, what bats live in Pennsylvania and how bats benefit us all. Take a short walk and look for bats as they emerge to hunt insects, then stay to watch the movie, "The Secret World of Bats." The program will include basics on being a S.M.A.R.T. angler as well as how to rig a fishing rod, types of bait, knot tying, rules and regulations, casting, hands-on fishing and more. Relax and explore the plant and animal life of Chapman Lake by water. Canoes are available on loan from the park or you can bring your own canoe or kayak. Please pre-register by calling the park office at 814-723-0250 by June 27th, as there is limited space for this program. No rental boats will be available.
