     Sheffield, located on Route 6, is known as the Heart of the Allegheny National Forest. Clarendon, just down the road also on Route 6, is home to Chapman State Park, making this area very popular for the outdoorsmen. When you are done exploring nature, you can stop in the little towns for a bite to eat and a quiet stroll.

     The history of Sheffield is unique and includes lumber history and a once-flourishing leather tanning economy. It's been said that Sheffield the last great lumber town in Pennsylvania.

     If you're looking for more excitement, make sure to visit during the annual Fireman’s Festival with a carnival, parade, and fireworks.

     With plenty of things to do and a deep historical past, Sheffield is the perfect place to visit and spend a day or two. These locals sure know how to have fun, so join them and make some memories!
