Winterfest Wow!

If you have never been to a Warren County Winterfest, you don't know what you're missing! It is a sure cure for cabin fever.

I had the pleasure of attending the Winterfest festivities along with my husband and unofficial photographer, Mike. Families came from near and far to enjoy the sled dog races, sled riding, the great food, the vendors, snowmobiling, and last but not least, the Polar Plunge. I was shivering just watching the folks that jumped into the icy water to raise money for the Salvation Army! The sled riding was not just for the kids. Here is a photo of my husband with our nephew, Chase, and niece, Lydia. He really is a big kid at heart! I can't wait to see what next year's Winterfest has in store for us. What a great way for the young and old to beat the winter time blues!
