Events: July 20163rd: Betts is hosting a series of event in celebration of July 4th! Family activities and the Cutest Baby Contest will be from 1-11pm. Starting at 4pm and lasting until 10pm music will be provided by live bands. End the night with fireworks which will begin at 10pm. Vendors will be available along with Budweiser Clydesdales and Birds of Prey. 3rd: Chapman State Park is having a non-denominational chapel service at 10am.4th: Fish for free all day at Chapman State Park! Poles and bait will be provided4th: The Warren County Pre Parade Show will begin at 9:30am at Drum & Bugle Corps Exhibition. On July 12th from 5:30-7:30pm you have the opportunity to meet the artists and speak with local conservation experts to learn how to conserve places like these. 8th: Chapman State Park is having a “Lil’ Buds: Summer Nature Series from 4-5pm at the Beach Building. This program is for ages 2-6 and involves hands on exploration, a nature story, and a craft. There is no fee. 8th: Chapman State Park is holding “Night Sky Exploration” Where you get to meet learn all about the night sky and use the parks telescope!
