1st: Start of statewide archery season 1st: Mission For Mandy (a golf scramble at Cable Hollow Golf Course to help Amanda Cable- Ludwiszewski in her fight against peritoneal cancer.) Tee off will be at 9am and the fee will be $75 per person. There will also be a dinner and auction at the Lander Volunteer Fire Hall in Lander PA at 2pm. Donations of auction items, cash, and volunteers to help with the benefit will be gratefully accepted.  1st: 12th Annual Wildcat Park Fall Festival (along Rt. 6) from 10am-4pm. Admission is free and there will be handmade crafts, concessions, bake sales, and more! If you are a crafter/vendor and interested, call 814-945-6375 1st: George Jones Memorial Walleye/Bass 20th Annual Team Tournament on the Allegheny River. The weigh in site is the Tidioute Boat Launch and the start time will be 7am. The entry fee is $50 per team, and the lunker fee is $10 per team. You must stop fishing at 4pm and be in the weigh in site by 5pm. You must pre-register. Registration forms are available at the Warren County Visitors Bureau.
