I along with my Mother-in-law had the pleasure of seeing the Allegheny River through Piper VanOrd's eyes yesterday at the Warren County Courthouse. This program was part 2 of the Allegheny River Series presented by the Warren County Historical Society. Part 1 featured Ellen Putnam Paquette. Being the owner of Allegheny Outfitters and an avid outdoors person, Piper was able to show us many of the beautiful photos that she has taken while kayaking on the Allegheny River as well as teaching us about many species that make the riverbanks their home.
