To put it simply, Scandia is mountainous and stunning. Located in northern Warren County, Scandia gives mountaintop views for miles and roads that lead down to some more secluded areas of the Allegheny Reservoir, including Roper Hollow and Webbs Ferry,  both of which offer boat launches and amazing views. Two museums are also there, showing the rich history of the area. The Elk Township Historical Society has recreated the one-room schoolhouse complete with original writing on the chalkboard. The Shed Gift Shop and Museum is an eclectic and extensive collection of antique cars, gas engines, quilts, and much more. Blueberry Hill Golf Club is located at the peak of one of the rolling hills. After taking to the beautiful 18-hole course, stop in at the recently renovated restaurant and bar onsite. Scandia is also home to the Scandia Chainsaw Carve held at Red Oak Campground twice a year. Talented chainsaw artists from all over the country take to the campground putting on quite a show and giving the opportunity to purchase a one-of-a-kind souvenir. You just can't beat Scandia.
